frequently asked questions. 

These are the most common questions I am asked on a day to day basis. If you have any other queries please don't hesitate to send me an email and ask! 

HOW WILL MY ITEM(S) BE SENT?

 

All items are sent Royal Mail First Class, and all item prices include postage. This is usually a next-day service but sometimes can take up to 2 days to arrive. If your parcel is sent on Thursday it will be with you by Saturday, if it is sent on Monday it will be with you by Wednesday. There is a next day delivery option at checkout, this costs £3.50 extra but please note it is guaranteed next day from the day of posting, NOT from the day you order. 


when should i choose the collection option?

 The collection option is ONLY to be used if you can collect from me in Cheadle. I will email you to arrange collection if you pick this option. I am not able to deliver things around the area as I do not drive. If you have ordered a celebration cake and need it to be delivered to you then please email or phone me beforehand. Delivery of big cakes is possible but I need to know in advance and arrange the date with you. Please do not select the collection option without being sure you can collect from me! 


which days are your posting days?

My posting days are Monday and Thursday. Orders made BEFORE 8AM on Sunday will be sent Monday morning for Tuesday delivery to you. Orders made BEFORE 8AM on Wednesday will be sent Thursday morning for Friday delivery. If you have just missed the cut off and need something delivered please email or phone me and I will see if I can fit you in. If you order on a Sunday or Wednesday after the deadline and do not contact me I will assume you want the item/s posting on the next dispatch date.  


what are your mixed boxes? when are they sent?

The mixed boxes are for the weekend - they include 2 cookies, 2 brownies and 8 doughnuts. The mixed boxes are ONLY sent on Thursdays and as above you must order BEFORE 8AM on Wednesday to get yours that weekend. I cannot make mixed boxes for the Monday delivery as they include different components that I do not make in the rest of the week (cookies). I cannot make the mixed boxes gluten or soy free. They are by default free from egg, dairy and nuts.


HOW WILL MY PRODUCT BE PACKAGED?

All items are sealed in a food grade cellophane bag and posted in a thick cardboard box. 


Yes! If you have a custom request I am always happy to provide this. Please use the contact form to email and request anything custom made. I will reply within 2 working days but usually same day. If there is something custom you need and you want me to send it on a day other than Monday or Thursday I can do this.

CAN YOU MAKE ME A CUSTOM ORDER?


i'm not happy with my product. do you offer refunds?

Due to the custom nature of each product being individually handmade, I do not offer refunds.  It is your responsibility once you have placed your order to make sure you have made arrangements for the delivery of the item - if you miss your delivery and for any reason the postman is unable to deliver it, I am not liable. Once the item leaves my hands and you receive your email saying that the item will be delivered it is completely your responsibility. If you wish to cancel your order for a full refund you need to do so BEFORE the cut off point the day before your item will be sent out - e.g. if you ordered on Monday for your item to be sent on Thursday, you need to let me know you want to cancel BEFORE 8AM on WEDNESDAY. If you wish to cancel after the cut off point please email me and I can sort something out for you but there will be a £3 charge. If you think at all that you may have to cancel your order PLEASE let me know as soon as you can so that I don't book & pay for the courier. The ONLY time I will offer a refund or replacement is if your item is lost in the post or damaged in transit and unsafe to consume.
